Surgical Observation Program
The Stryker Asia Pacific Surgical Observation and Scientific Exchange Program invites overseas and local surgeons to observe surgery with leading orthopaedic surgeons in Australia and New Zealand.
The program is suited to surgeons who are looking to broaden their surgical knowledge and skills in the use of Stryker implants and instrumentation by observing leading orthopaedic surgeons perform surgery. The exchange of information between host and visiting surgeon in the operating theatre facilitates learning and provides real-time experience and problem solving.
There are a number of Stryker observation sites across South Pacific. Stryker has selected sites with leading orthopaedic surgeons who have a keen interest in education and training, extensive experience and expertise and in depth knowledge of Stryker products. Visiting surgeons are allocated to observation sites according to their preference to observe particular surgical procedures, products and host surgeon availability. There are limited spots available at each site per year.
