Tritanium

Stryker Orthopaedics has developed Tritanium Advanced Fixation Technology from commercially pure Titanium (CPTi) – a biologically compatible material. The Tritanium matrix closely resembles the structure of trabecular bone.

Tritanium Primary

Tritanium Primary

  • Provides surgeons with a highly porous ingrowth surface manufactured from a commercially pure Titanium matrix (72% porosity1, major pore size: 546 microns2, minor pore size: 311 microns2, coefficient of friction: 1.011)
  • Compatible with Trident X3, Crossfire, Ceramic and mobile bearing MDM inserts.
  • A true hemispherical shape available in solid back and cluster hole designs ranging from sizes 44mm - 66mm.
Tritanium Revision

Tritanium Revision

  • Commercially pure titanium structure on titanium alloy shell
  • Highly porous open titanium surface structure - major pore size (650 microns, ± 100) / minor pore size (250 microns, ± 50) - which closely resembles the structure of trabecular bone3
  • Designed for revision surgery, with multiple screw holes (superior and inferior clusters) to achieve bone fixation and initial stability
  • Hemispherical design available in sizes 54mm – 72mm
  • Compatible with Trident X3, Crossfire, Ceramic and mobile bearing MDM inserts.
